Nova configuração do desfile encantou o público no Jardim do Visconde.
Foi com brilho nos olhos, ritmo nos passos e emoção na voz que Mira celebrou, na noite de sábado, 21 de junho, mais uma edição memorável das Marchas Populares, no encantador cenário do Jardim do Visconde. A nova configuração do evento — com todas as marchas a apresentarem-se ao público antes do início dos desfiles — revelou-se um verdadeiro sucesso, eliminando os tempos mortos e garantindo um espetáculo fluido, envolvente e vibrante do princípio ao fim.
A luminosidade do final de tarde deu um charme especial ao desfile, realçando o esplendor dos trajes, o brilho das cores e o calor dos aplausos. A cada entrada, o público era arrebatado por uma combinação de coordenação, ritmo, vozes afinadas e coreografias bem ensaiadas, que demonstraram o empenho apaixonado de todos os participantes.
Foram oito marchas em desfile — duas delas infantis — numa noite marcada pela alegria, pela genuinidade e pela saudade bem acolhida: a Marcha do Seixo regressou, e foi recebida com entusiasmo e carinho redobrado. Já a Marcha Gandaresa esteve ausente este ano, mas a promessa de regresso em 2026 deixa já boas expectativas no ar.

Na essência, foi uma noite onde se celebrou o que Mira tem de mais valioso: a capacidade de fazer bem, com paixão, aquilo que ama.

New event format delighted the audience at Jardim do Visconde
With sparkle in their eyes, rhythm in their steps and emotion in their voices, the people of Mira celebrated, on the evening of Saturday, June 21st, one of the most memorable editions of the Marchas Populares ever held in the town. This year’s new format — where all the groups first presented themselves to the audience before the actual parade began — proved to be a winning bet, eliminating gaps between performances and creating a continuous, vibrant and engaging spectacle.
The soft evening light added an extra charm to the event, enhancing the dazzling colours, intricate costumes and joyful atmosphere. With each entry, the audience was captivated by the coordination, rhythm, voices and well-rehearsed choreography — a clear reflection of the dedication and love poured into each performance.
A total of eight groups took part — including two children’s marches — in a night filled with energy, authenticity and heartfelt emotion. A highlight of the evening was the much-welcomed return of the Seixo March, greeted with enthusiasm and warmth. Although the Marcha Gandaresa was absent this year, its return in 2026 is already eagerly anticipated.
